As a teenager, Jesse formed his first country group and performed to capacity crowds with some of America's most popular artists, such as, Hank Williams Jr., Merle Kilgore, Tommy Cash, Roy Acuff, Marty Robbins, Connie Smith, Wilburn Brothers, Loretta Lynn, Billy "Crash" Craddock, Tammy Wynette, George Jones, Bill Anderson and others. His burning desire to sing lured him to Nashville, where he pursued his career as an entertainer.
Although achieving many of his goals while climbing the ladder of success, his personal life was being torn apart. In his futile search for happiness, he faced his ultimate crisis with the destruction of his marriage and the loss of his family. He was left literally without a reason to live. At this darkest moment of his life, Jesse accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior. His new-found faith brought about a chain reaction of miracles into his life, beginning with the restoration of his marriage and family. His born-again experience also brought a new direction to his music.
Today, Jesse sings and ministers full-time throughout the United States, presenting his music and ministry in churches, concerts, radio and television. For three years, Jesse was a regularly featured singer on TBN's "Sonshine", hosted by Laverne Tripp. Jesse also travels extensively overseas and is heavily involved with Christian Communications International which produces television programming seen throughout the country of Poland. "Nowy Dzien" (A New Day), is currently viewed by over 22 million people in Poland.
Jesse performs 150-200 music concerts throughout the United States and abroad, in
addition to numerous appearances on radio and television. Jesse Evatte in
concert is a time of anointed singing and a dynamic testimony that will touch
every one who hears.
